clide is a German-American singer-songwriter who has quickly established himself as a promising talent in the music world. Growing up in a musical environment, he was influenced early on by his parents, who exposed him to a wide variety of genres. that remain central to clide’s music. His heartfelt, introspective approach has resonated with

listeners, leading to his inclusion on the 2021 hotlist for the New Music Award, solidifying his

status as one of Germany's most promising new artists. clide’s "sad songs" often reflect

emotions like loss, grief, and hope, creating a deep emotional connection with his audience.

clide has gained notable exposure, being featured on the cover of "POP Brandneu" and

included in over 30 New Music Friday playlists globally. His tracks have earned prominent

placements in playlists worldwide, further expanding his international reach. With several

successful singles, his influence in the music scene continues to grow.

While clide is recognized as a talented singer and performer, he has also made a significant

impact as a songwriter. He co-wrote the hit song "Never Let Me Down" by VIZE, which has

surpassed 200 million streams and he also contributed to the chart-topping tracks "White

Lies" by Tokio Hotel and "Crazy Love" by Leony. These songs became major hits, further

highlighting clide’s versatility and influence as a songwriter. With over 100 million streams of

his own music, live performances in major cities like Berlin, London, Los Angeles, and New

York and appearances at festivals across Germany, clide continues to solidify his place as a

rising star in the international music scene.
